Making the Transition to Cleaner Energy

CESO partnered with Carroll County on a $900 million, 700 MW natural gas-fired power plant situated on 17 acres. The facility generates enough energy to provide electricity for over 740,000 homes.

LOCATION: Carroll County, Ohio

The creation of this natural gas downstream project was aligned with the country's move toward cleaner energy production. The combined-cycle plant uses advanced emissions-control technology, ensuring it operates within National Ambient Air Quality Standards designed to protect the public's health and the environment. It is also recognized as one of the cleanest and most efficient plants in the US. Natural gas for the facility was sourced from an existing pipeline system located close to the site. Our scope for the site included civil engineering, surveying, pipeline route development, permitting, and traffic services.
