Orlando Christian Prep

As part of a growing K–12 ministry affiliated with Orlando Baptist Church, Orlando Christian Prep reached a pivotal moment: their facilities could no longer support the needs of their expanding academic and worship communities. CESO partnered with COSCO & Associates to help modernize and expand the school’s footprint through a new academic building that improves daily functionality and reinforces OCP’s long-term vision.

LOCATION: Orlando, Florida
MARKETS: Worship

Scheduled to open in Fall 2025, the new two-story, 40,000-SF facility replaces an outdated front-of-campus structure and serves as the new architectural focal point of the site. Its prominent location enhances visibility and creates a stronger connection between school operations and the surrounding community.

The lower level features a secure, centralized campus entrance, administrative offices, five classrooms, and restrooms. A 400-seat auditorium anchors the building, supporting chapel services, fine arts performances, and large school gatherings. The upper-level houses seven additional classrooms, an open classroom space, student study areas, and restrooms, all of which were designed for flexibility, collaboration, and durability.

CESO provided architectural and planning services in close collaboration with COSCO and the school’s leadership team. We collaborated on the design process through master planning, stakeholder meetings, and iterative design reviews to align the building with both current instructional needs and long-term growth. Our team advised on materials, layout, and acoustic and security strategies that were appropriate for high-traffic, high-use educational environments, all while keeping the school’s budget and ministry priorities at the forefront.

From improved classroom configurations to dedicated breakout spaces and teacher work areas, the new building aligns OCP’s facilities with modern educational practices. The result is a purpose-driven environment that supports student engagement, staff collaboration, and community use, positioning Orlando Christian Prep for continued impact in Central Florida.
