Paragon Road Reconstruction
Paragon Road currently exists as a two (2) lane roadway (ditch section) from Spring Valley Pike south approximately 1.3 miles to Social Row Road, excluding the improved City of Centerville section (1/3 mile). CESO will prepare roadway plans that will improve Paragon Road to an improved two (2) lane roadway with curb and gutter, storm sewer, and sidewalk with lawn area. The project also calls for a realignment of Paragon Road with two (2) ninety (90) degree bends. The project also involved right-of-way plan development, and legal descriptions and exhibits for right-of-way acquisition. In addition, a new traffic signal is proposed at Paragon Road & Social Row Road, along with updating the existing traffic signal at Paragon Road & Spring Valley Pike.
The project will include the following:
- Signal Warrant Study
- Determination of existing right-of-way
- Establishing horizontal and vertical control
- Plan and profile, and cross sections
- New typical section
- Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans
- Storm Sewer design
- Traffic Signal design
- Erosion control plans
- Sight distance review
